I have an old JAP 2 stroke mower, that has a similar engine design to villiers, not sure if its older or newer. Im aware that Villiers and JAP had a merger years ago. it has a plate on the base made by scott bonnar and the mower number.
Its missing its handle bars and im wondering how the bars looked like so i can replicate them. I got her going and she runs beautifully and revs so high, much higher than a toe cutter. I believe maybe becuase the flywheel is so much lighter than the toe cutter. Can anyone tell me what year / value and or have pictures of one that i can fit bars to? thanks

Hi,

On the id plate says, scott bonnar pty ltd
mower number 22 0123c
on the leg of the crankcase it has marked cm / v
its orange in colour and has a villiers type crankcase

there is the pic if anyone can tell me bit of history to it thanks

I will be loading up parts list on the Jap 4/stroke engines in a few days but I am still trying to get the two stroke manuals. Will let you know when I get hold of them.
