Thanks for the access to the parts list Bruce. smile

I have inherited a briggs and stratton based generator and a davey firefighter pump with a suzuki s200 4 - stroke.

They are both having the same problem and which is a failure to run at a constant revs, the auto throttle on them both constantly closes and opens, does anyone know if this is a tuning issue or something else, hope you can help as they both run, but are erratic and don't sound right and I don't have much experience with small four strokes.

Thanks Bruce, I will get the info on the B & S when I go up bush.
Thought you might be interested, I have been playing around with the Suzuki s200 water pump today, and it appears that the position of the choke affects the smooth running i.e. if the choke is not opened up completely the motor runs a lot smoother (even when hot). I will know more when I test it at the [Censored] tomorrow. I have stripped and cleaned the carby, jets and tank. smile
