I just had another look at the little trademark embossed on my engine and, yes, it's the 3 pairs of leaves of the Efco trademark, as here:

Hey Chris, I note that the model PA1030 is still being sold, so I guess that means engine parts are still available.

and I found this parts list:

Well, I had a very pleasant phone conversation today with Mr Ron Zacka, CEO of Parklands Trading and son of the founder. He recalls the "King" which he confirmed is an Oleo-Mac mower that went under a number of brands in Oz, and is powered by an Efco engine, however it wasn't Parklands that imported them it was actually Cranford Products, a now defunct company that was headquartered in VIC.

Cranford Products was the distributor of Oleo-Mac up until 1992 when Parklands took over. (In 2007 Roy Gripske & Sons Pty Ltd (QLD) took over the Oleo-Mac distributorship.)

Correction that should read: "(In 2011 Roy Gripske & Sons Pty Ltd (QLD) took over the Oleo-Mac distributorship.)"

Here is a magazine ad from 1988 when Cranford Products was the distributor for Oleo-Mac.

Note that they had premises in Knoxfied VIC and "Warratah" (should be Waratah 2298) NSW:
