I have a weedEater XT-125 that has problems starting, idling and stalling under load.

There is a red and blue adjustment screw and another which I think is the idle speed.

What is the proper adjustment proceedure to get this running smoothly?

Which screw is which?

tia.

Aloha JCE, just a suggestion those covers on the hi and lo adjustment screws were put there so consumer could not mess with carb adjustment, with a longnose pliers pull them off carefully .use a screwdriver turn hi an lo srews all the way in not to tight bring out both screws one and half full turn and work from there if machine continues tostall use lo srew turn till machine runs without stalling hi srew is for more power. aloha JCE try it and let me no ,if you werehere i would do it for you good luck and aloha SHANE

Aloha Jce, for hard starting if your machine was sitting for along period of time and fuel was left in the machine it could of caused some problems with your carb diaphram it might be to hard to pulsate fuel try opening carb if diphram is hard you could save it with some wd-40 spray some on and if it becomes soft and plyable try it again so many things you could do so little space if you were here in hawaii i could have that machine running in no time JCE let me know the outcome ALOHA SHANE
