My Dad has asked for help regarding an LM carby on a victa 2 stroke.
When the fuel tap is turned on fuel leaks through the primer bulb. He replaced it with a spare LM carby with the same result. As the carbys could be (or probably are) well used, I just wanted to ask about what would be required to rebuild one. Like a carby kit, or what parts would be needed to replace.
Thanks

this sounds like the needle and/or float is misplaced or missing.

either that or the primer face has not been placed horizontally on the carby body. There should be a line that states "this line horizontal" on the face which incorporates the primer bulb, make sure it is horizontally placed.

Thanks for the replies. I was going to try and pull the carby apart this weekend. I was going to get a carby kit anyway to put through it which seem to have a needle, o rings and cut out boots. Any ideas on the best place to get them?
