got bored today waiting for people to come pickup mowers , so i dragged this oldie out and had a tidy up . been sitting for quite some time luckily with no fuel smile painted the cowling and starter , cleaned up the base and found the shute with another as i cant find a catcher to fit . started 1st pull too amazed me !

these 'ol girls do a great job even with good old blades still on an old disc from another . eng'46366978 , looks around 67/69 maybe ? cheers Dave

Well it did clean up alright.Don't know that I can help you with the age from engine number as cause what I can see it would be a 1966 model.Yeah then again that could very well be right.Maybe Joe could help a little more with that,he's more the department store guy here.

it is joe's one ! bigshock i think its been forgotten about though , no worries its a good runner now i just gotta stock up on g3 cables and control's . have a few with 'em missing cheers2

Was at the scrap yard today, walked past a catcher for that. Got an early high arch one that was there.


I have 3 or 4 of those catchers here already, I'm pretty sure they were all spoken for. The one at the scrap yard had a broken and repaired floor, wasnt too bad, did a pretty good job on it. I suppose I could go back and grab it for the 5 bills they ask for em.

I have two chutes here as well, 1 for my Corvette II and the other for a Cortina I got a few weeks back.

i gotta come see you one day ! the one you see on it wont fit my corvette though , damn close but i dont like to modify it . i think my 'vette takes plastic from what the guy's have said
