Hi peter, what an exquisite machine, never seen on quite like it ...unfortunately out of my league price wise....but I would like to know some detail for our archives....
How did you come by the mower? What was the original colour scheme?
I hope it goes to a good home, and preferably to a museum; where many generations can enjoy the meticulous detail of its construction.
Looking forward to your reply, Peter,
cheers2

Hi Darryl yes it's a real gem. purchased it about 18 months ago its was a mess, i reckon it was probably laying around in a shed untouched for 50 years. You could barely see any colour under the dirt.hard to say what original colours were as there had been various layers of paint. It was mainly green with red wheels and reel, however when stripped there was signs of gold {paint}on the reel. Have you looked on ebay? there is some interesting documentation with it giving some background to it's history.

Glad it's appreciated by those in the know
cheers Peter
