Well, I'm not sure either is at all original, the supoerswift base on the left looks far too old (60's maybe) for that Honda engine, and the rover base looks to be 70's, with a 90's techumseh.
I'm not a huge fan of techumseh engines, so I'd cosider tracking a briggs of the corect vintage for the rover, which would not be hard (I'll see what I have for you)
As for the Super Swift, I'm not sure what engine you are looking for, but I'll have a dig, it could be a Villiers 7f you want for that.
I would take the honda motor and fit it to a more modern catching base, you could end up with a very good machine that way.
Let me see what I can find in the way of more suitable engines for those mowers, I would easily have a base that would suit the techumseh if you really wanted to be bothered, then you could make a sale machine for a little extra cash.
If you don't want to make 2 newer mowers with the newer engines, I would be more than happy to offer you money for the Honda engine, as well as period engines for the two bases if I have them!
Cheers Ty

Yea the motor on the rover has a stuffed pull cord so not sure if its a runner. Does the pull cord come off complete with the top plastic? An the honda turns over normal but i havnt had it fire up yet. I have a few projects now anyway :-)

With the techumseh, take of the starter (or the cowl if necissary) and see if you can get the cord to grab.
If not, wrap a cord around the cup, and see if it will start then, if not, I honestly would suggest kick it out, there's better engines out there.
The Honda on the other hand is a great motor, and should not be tossed, but really does not suit the base.
Decide what you would like to see happen to the 4 models (Hond, Techumseh, Rover & SS) then let us know if you need any parts/info.
Cheers Ty

That depends on shaft length, if you can tell us the length of the crank outside the engine, that will help work out a base for you.
Cheers Ty

Is that a 4 stroke tecumseh???
It looks like the cowling is all beat up, like soemthing heavy has sat on the top of it. The starter is easy to get off. So is the cowl.
It is a bit new for that model.
I would pull the motor off and turn it around. Tank to the front is bad news. its easier to buy a new spark plug than it is to get a new tank.
Running you could sell it like that.
