Can anyone point me in the direction of an assembly diagram or assembly instructions for the restart assembly for this old mower. I'm not sure about the retaining spring and fitting bracket.
Thanks, Rod.

rod4655, If you use the search button on the board and type in: Victa Starter Information Old & Power Torque you will get your drawings. Regards, Bruce ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking.com.au/board/biggrin.gif)

Thanks Bruce,
However, I had already located those drawings, but this starter assembly pre-dates those I think. I think the Sabre was out in the mid 1980's and has a few different parts. In particular, a retaining spring, which doesn't seem to have any particular obvious orientation.
Thanks ,all the same,
Rod.

Rod, Did you look at the old starters as they date back to the 1950's. The other option is to email me a picture. Regards, Bruce ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking.com.au/board/biggrin.gif)
