Hello all ,
I have just bought this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280740250172&ssPageName=ADME:L:COSI:AU:1123
Picked up today and had first cut with it.
I loved it just got sort out the grass flying everywhere ,might do a catcher mod like others have done.
Its a 89 model built in brisbane under the SB Rover arangement. 3 hp B & S . picking up a few supplies on the weekend like a new air filter and do an oil change.
I will take some pics of in use in my yard on the weekend.
Thanks jetcrew

Thats exactly the same as mine. Mine was made in 92. But the catcher is dented bad unlike yours.Mine had a wicked vibration. It turned out the clutch housing is cracked. Yours looks pretty damn clean!

UPDATE.. well mowed with it twice and a little piece of metal came flying out and hit my leg. It was the retaining thing that locks the shaft . I have pulled it apart and it appears that the shaft key is worn and the lug as ell as the groove insde the clutch wheel.
I can not work out the photo thing but it would appear I need a few parts . not a major drama but still a pain.
will try find the parts

Jetcrew, I'm hoping you were not hurt, and all is well except for a terminal wear condition in a few parts of your clutch/drive shaft. To post pictures, all you do is click on the fifth icon from the left at the top of the "Quick Reply" window, then follow the instructions to load pics from your computer's hard drive. That is, click "Browse", find your file on your hard drive in the Browse window, click on your file, then click on "Add file from your PC". There will be a bunck of diagonal lines zooming sideways for a few moments, then you'll see a thumbnail of your file on the screen. Click the "All Done" button, and you're back to the typing window to finish your post.
Some pics would be useful to other members, and also should help us to figure out what you need.

I will endewvour to get some pics up tomorrow when Dad pulls it apart. he did it once and put it back together. but he tells me the KEY long square matal thing is worn and so is the shaft on the engine. He says if I use the same size key it will still have slop/movment as the recivers are all worn.
So he is going to oversize the key to take up the slack. and then replace the little metal piece that came out ,he says that because the shaft from the engine is all worn if this quick fix deoes not work then it will need a new enginge shaft ect. as to only replace one prt will only cause wear on the rest ,so he is going to size everything to suit the largest point of wear.
I'll take some pics in the morning.

When a key runs loose, you normally need to mill a wider keyway in the shaft, widen the keyway in the hub (which is more difficult) and fit a new, wider, tightly-fitting key.
