Hi Bruce ... dunno if you can help.

I now have no spark. Have replaced plug and checked the lead when turning the motor over - but zilch ! Think this might be magneto problem ?

The damned thing is only a couple of years old too !

Also, my earlier issue (no start and dieing Nov sometime) was eventually tracked to having accidentally switched fuel caps with the whipper snipper filler, and the mower couldn't breath !!!!!

1.Does the mower have a black plastic carby?
If so remove one of the cut out wires.

2. Does the mower have a electronic module on it?
If so try replacing it after step one doesn't work.

Try these things first before looking at the coil.

It turned out to be the HT lead that wasn't securely anchored.
