hi all! The front roller shaft with the older alloy end caps wear and become sloppy,
this can cause the clip to be uneven. I guess with the catcher slowly filling with
fine clippings the front of the machine puts more load on the roller shaft.
The front roller has an unavoidable fault and that is the front roller flattens the
grass before the cutter passes over it. You can fit a teasing rake to the front
roller shaft just behind the roller its self this add on is only suited to certain
couch varieties over 200 of them what i decided to do was glue the brass tube onto
the roller tube with 222 Loctite as its not in a marine environment. I'm not too
concerned about the brass and alloy compatibility
