Hi, has anyone have a 125 cc Victa TIGER crank case or motor they want to sell, it was made for the 18 Special, it has the word TIGER written on the top half of the crank case where VICTA usually is, your help is greatly appreiateted. Brett L.

I just bought some old Victa's off Joe Brown who lives in Sale Vic. I know he has quite a few of the old 18" Specials but I'm not sure about the Tiger crankcase.

His number is 0351464250.

Good luck!

Thanks PeCo for your reply as I will ring the number provided,by having contacts,it helps locate hard to get parts if there still around. I`m still looking for a 1956 Rotomo "Victa" baseplate name badge, it`s an alloy boomerang shaped plate fitted to the front of the mower, this would make it a complete restoration. Bruce did not reply to any of my 6 emails,a big thanks again PeCo and I would like to see your mowers through the net if possible.

The Tiger Crankcase you Discribe is part of a specially Modified Victa Engine. In the Book I have here, which is a Genuine Victa Product Catolougue and parts manual. from 1955 to 1971. Victa called the tiger engine part of its "Industrial" Engine Range. (Must have been special order) There where 2 models a Tiger Standard and a Tiger Super The Tiger standard had 2 different Crankshaft options, Revised crankcase, and different magneto. The Tiger Super had different air cleaner, Crankcase Bolts, An "Amal" Carby, Magneto, And HT Lead.

Hope this Bit of Information Helps.
Regards Ben

Re Tiger engines etcand photos etc. As a new member I should enquire if it would be in order for me to suggest going to a Yahoo Groups site where pics can be posted to a files section and anyone interested could see them. This Outdoor King is a really good sitr but does seem to me to offer this facility. I have group site which I stated recently. My email address is
skyglo@vic.australis.com.au and I will reply to anyone who answers Joe Brown
