The tightening knob came off my McCulloch T255 Brush Cutter with a very small washer and a rectangiular plate from inside the Shaft. This is the knob on the coupler. How does it fit back together?? Reagrds Firey364

without a more in depth explanation and possible pictures it is very hard to grasp and help you fix you problem. so if you can possible get some pics it will help allot in solving your issue quickly.

I will get a pic in the morning and post. On the red knob that tightens the Coupler (this is the joining section when the shafts are put together)it has a thread and then about a 1.5mm pin on its end that when the thresded knob goes thru the hole on the coupler it then goes into a rounded rectangulat section. The knob tightens onto this, but there is this little washer that I think pressses on the inside of the rectangular section . How I get this back pressed into the knob is my problem

Hi Firey364, and a big warm welcome to the forum. grin
As Jay has said, in order to help sort out your prob, a pic or 2 would help immensely.Once we can see how it all fits together, it should be relatively easy to put you on the right track. wink
Once again :welcome: to the forum.
