hi everyone
i had a victa ultima given to me the other day, ihave never worked on one and know nothing about them,this one is pretty clean but not going. are they a good mower generaly. i cant make up my mind wheather to check it right out or just park it.it looks like it will be a bit more involved to work on, or do they just look like that. this one has pretty good compression and spark, so its probably worth a look at. thanks micka

If it is the Ultima engine with the alloy carburettor block then all you will need to do is replace the 'O' rings in the carby bowl as well as the one on the main jet.

Once you have cleaned the block and replaced the 'O' rings let us know if it will start. cheers2

hi bruce
its an alloy carby block with the fuel bowl clipped onto it. iv'e found the o ring that seals around the main jet,where abouts in the are the ones in the bowl,does the float assy just un clip up out of the retainers each end of the pin,it looks like it but i dont want to force it. i'll get the o rings tomorrow. thanks bruce

i found the o rings, replaced them and give the coil a good clean up and reset it up. it started up on the third pull. it runs and idles like new, i cut the lawn with it today. thanks for the help. micka
