Hi all

Wondering how easy a foam air filter is to come by for an Kawasaki Fa130D I have the rectangle filter box and also wondering how easy are other spares to come by for this engine which appears to be very well engineered compared to a B&S

GregR,

The part number you are looking for is 11013-2057 and it will not be easy to locate an air filter but I will try to check tomorrow for you. cheers2

Thanks for the help Bruce. I think i might be up for some gaskets as well. I am thinking I might have to do the valve clearences as she doesn't like starting hot. But if you wait a few minutes she will start with a bit of choke I tried putting some wd40 in the down the spark plug hole and when I had the carbie off I did see a bit of blow back through the intake. What is reputation of Kawasaki engines as I find it weird that she is mounted on a Scott Bonnar 45 reel instead of the normal B&S 2.5hp

fyi. I walked in to my local mower shop with my FA130D air filter and walked out with a brand new identical one. Lucky? dunno.

Excellent motor (the FA130D)

The thing is with the FA 130D there as so many permutations that makes sourcing parts difficult

Hi all

I have since found out that part 11013-2057 looks to be obsolete so I might have to look at getting a couple custom made. Bruce do you have measurements handy in the manuals.

Thanks heaps

Now I have a question for Bruce et all

Would it be possible to install the Filter assembly off a FA130D-BS21 (Part # 11010) to a FA130D-EJ80 without modifying too much. Can someone give me the dimensions of the 11010 Air filter Assembly or so I can compare it against the air filter assembly for an ej80

Thanks heaps

Greg,

You are missing some numbers from the part number. The FA130D was used on edge cutters as well as other equipment which means that the engine would have been fitted with different air filters. cheers2
