They are not too bad as far as Chondas go, probably the best of the Chinese stuff. That fuel hose gives me the irrits the way they came up with it so they could fit a filter in there instead of just putting one in the line, but I guess it all comes down to costs, an extra 5 cents on a million mowers all ads up

I had to cut the boss of the Rover, and use my home made sliding hammer, eventually came off.
I thought I'd use the boss off the burnt Victa......
But the key is a permanent piece, and doesn't look like coming out....... It must come out.
I have to use the half moon old rover key.
I have another Rover boss, so back to waiting for a old Rover blade plate....

I’m pretty sure you could replicate that boss with a set of matched broaches. However, I don’t know how you’d do it efficiently in a production environment.
