I'm rebuilding and eager beaver and need to replace the electronic ignition module. What's the correct gap for that and what is the little arrow on the flywheel labeled "IGN" for? Where can I get a schematic for this saw?

There are more than one model of Eager Beaver McCulloch Chain Saw. The usual gap for Electronic Ignition type units is .012 to .015".
Some of the EB units were built at the time when Electronic Ignition was being introduced so you flywheel could be for one type or the other. What is the model number of your saw.
example 600123-02 serial number prefix 11 or 12. Without the proper model number it is hard to tell which unit to quote specs for.
