SENIOR TECHNICIAN & HISTORIAN
Hi Norm Mf and Jeff

Sometimes I mix in a little spray paint with epoxy glue and that works ok Norm to change the colour , maybe a little paint mixed with the stud adhesive may fix the colour problem if the wheels that are done with the tile pointing filler don't last.

Another thing I was thinking but don't know how good it would last is to melt down plastic drink bottles
and plastic fill the wheels. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=How+to+Melt+Plastic+Bottles+for+Molding

Plastic Pellets another possibility https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Polymor...t-62-C-Polycaprolactone-PCL/273400572908

Not sure how many wheels this liquid plastic would repair https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Smooth-Cast-Semi-Rigid-Rotocast-Trial-Kit-900gmSC65D/292253474297

Cheers
Max.

G'day MW, NK and JFB,

we're going for cheap right?
Scrunched up paper jammed in the cavity followed by the cheapest setting compound you can get, then some sort of thick black paint or other compound you can apply by brush, mini roller or pressure pack.

It shouldn't be this arduous. I think common cement was never destined to work in hindsight.
Whatever compound it is, it must be considered, cheap and flex a bit too, not be rigid.

Maybe tin donuts attached by screws??

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Few more Victa's on Face book

Might need a bit of spare space in the shed.

He has a good supply of parts to flog off. Looks like the wheels alone would fetch more than the job lot of complete mowers.
Just add postage.
