I have a victa Tornado VSX160 with a MA05690A flywheel that has broken a number of fins.
I would like to replace it but it looks like the MA05690A is not common/available.
Can it be replaced with any other flywheel?
Thanks

Hi OPT, welcome here we try to help. I have never really bothered to look, I just mix and match with whatever I pick out of the engine pile, all seem to work fine. I would have probably 60/70 of them here so depending on where you are in Melb you are welcome to grab one. Big problem at the moment is we are all locked down once again

Hi NormK,
Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
Also, thanks for the offer of a flywheel. I am in Burwood, so I may take you up on the offer when we get out of lockdown.

Many thanks to Norm for the replacement flywheel, time and advice.
The mower is up and running like a dream.

While we're on the subject of Victa flywheels, can you put on the round 1970s type one with the fancy ripples onto a PT?
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Wouldn't think so MF but haven't tried so not sure. I assume you mean the one off a side pull?
