Deutscher did publish a pdf Model ID brochure some time back; I've retrieved a copy, and uploaded it to the ODK Deutscher Manuals pages - both the Ride-On and Walk-Behind sections.
Cheers, Gadge

without having pulled it down i can say its definetly not loose wheels, and i can be nearly certain that its missing teeth on a gear somewhere. its an unmistakeable and very annoying feeling( done it before on motorbikes). unfortunetly i think its doomed to sit under the caravans carport until my shed is done and i have some proper space to pull it down and get everything working properly
Billy, One of mine had several broken teeth and it split the housing. I got a new housing from Terry. Hopefully I will get back to mine in the next year or so.I may swap the gearboxes over so I can at least get one up and running. Second gearbox has leaking seals, I haven't really looked they should be easy to replace.
finally got around to pulling the gearbox out, not very pretty, looks like it had stuff all oil in it which i really should have checked wheni first got it going, anyway missing a bunch of teeth on the crown wheel, will haveto get onto terry and try source a replacement, then a good cleanand hopefully many years of happy mowing
definetly possible, i am on a hilly block and to the best of my knowledge the mower belonged to the original owners who built the house previous owner just left it under the tree for 4 years, at least it looks like a simple enough fix and it will be back to mowing again, might even go all out and fix up the rust in the deck and give it a dulux rebuild
