I have a Diplomat 430 that was my fathers. I would like to bring it back to life for sentimental reasons. A lot of the parts are beyond repair as it sat outside for many years. The motor seems to be ok but the pullies are shot. The gear in the drive drum is metal and looks really good. If you have one with or without the motor I would be interested.

It's free to a good home but in Brisbane at the moment.
If you can figure out a way to get it to your place it's yours.

I would love to get my hands on it. At the moment it would be impossible due to the restrictions. I wonder what it would cost to have it shipped to Sydney. I will check that out this week.

More than it's worth I think Arty. You could probably buy one closer to you for less than the cost of the freight
Your only hope is someone who is going this way in a ute.who will bring it back for you.

It's here and it's not going anywhere and is yours if you can organise transport..

They have a terrible reputation because of the drive problem and are basically worthless.

I will be seeing a member of the bowling club on Wednesday, he works for a courier, I'll ask him what he thinks. If it is $100 or less I will do it.

I have a plan to solve the drive problem as I am a fitter and turner and for the last 35 years I designed custom made machinery for the food industry.

I have a complete workshop at home to play in.

Thanks for the reply. The machine in the photo is not what I am really looking for, thanks for you help. The Diplomat is a unique machine, rather ugly as someone once described.
