Hi speedy,
I'm trying to see what is wrong, something look wrong but I'm not sure, maybe the front wheels

The wheels are back to front! Should have 200mm rears, 175mm fronts.

More obvious in the 2nd pic, when rotated to correct orientation;

I didn't notice that.
maybe it's for a purpose, lift the front into grass..
I'd put 200mm wheels on back as well.
I have 3 utilities. I'dlike it, but I'd have to let my lawn grow for 6 months and go for it.

I don't like it. I prefer the look of smaller wheels on the front. The large wheels on the back help give leverage when lifting up the front, why do large ones help in that situation?

If it has a four stroke it ain't a Victa in my books. Looks like another Thunder. All looks with no substance.

Unfortunately have to agree with MF - they look good, but are absolute crap. I count up to the end of the flathead briggs as true victa, but even thats pushing it

I have looked at them in bunnings and could not recommend

It is a non SP thunder, still with half width chute to clog up all the time, fabric catcher, weightless bar blade, gutless little briggs, the front and rear axles are a different track and jut out a good way (so you can only mow about 4inch up to edges - at least no body paint grazing) . They are pig heavy though so obviously have a fair bit of steel

And I personally find having to undo 2 camlocks, remove 2x handle knobs and undo another 2 to fit it into the boot of a sedan ludicrous

tell your friend to keep the Lawn Beetle, put the motor on a decent body and put a real blade carrier on it. The Beetle motors are not among the better Chondas
