Hmm, 'boss music', eh? Righto Jack; you've asked for it now...
And only the all-singing, all-dancing version will suffice, in this instance!

So here it is... laugh

G'day Gadge
Talk about broadsiding the Bismark! grin

It's not surprising that the major studios wouldn't touch this one.
I guess this is Boss Music!

Good old Mel Brooks hey!
Apparently, researchers have found a third gag in Get Smart!

Cheers

Well, if something is worth doing, it's even more worth overdoing! cool Or in other terms, to quote an old 'serious petrolhead' mate of mine, 'If some is good, then more is better, and too much has to be just right' shocked

Yup, close as it gets, IMHO. The vid I've linked is actually from the recent stage production of 'The Producers'. It's even more over the top than Mel Brooks' original film! Busby Berkeley would approve of that.

This show has had a very curious progression, from a 'film about a play', to a 'play about a play'.

Ahh yes. Comedic genius right there.
Not to mention his other pisstake films; the other standouts to me [apart from 'The Producers' that is], in no particular order; 'Blazing Saddles' and 'Young Frankenstein'...

Gadge

I don't think the sale in question is as bad as this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1930s-ATCO-and-MORRISON-Lawnmowers/352672967321?hash=item521cf26a99:g:JaAAAOSwaOxc6H-8 I have complained to ebay a few months ago and have sent a message to the seller without response cannot work it out, same add has been on for months.

Well, that didn't work, not sure how to post a link to ebay, but if you search ebay the heading is 1930's Atco and Morrison Lawnmowers, it is totally misleading as the photo in the ad is of a very early Atco that has been restored, yet the mowers purportedly for sale are completely different. As I said this ad has been running for a long time and no response from ebay about my complaint.

Hi Beech,

Just post up to and including the question mark like this:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1930s-ATCO-and-MORRISON-Lawnmowers/352672967321?

Central Coast of NSW has some real shady unscrupulous characters residing there who openly flout laws all the time like they aren't part of the state.
Also badly lit for the actual items on sale (remember I said shady?) as well as no feedback and is situated in a storage facility too! Run! RUN!

Hi Beech,
the restored pic is a bit misleading but the price is not over the top for 2 mowers with catchers even though the catchers weren't shown

Hi Norm, Mowerfreak, Beach and all,
Thanks MF for explaining the linking from that auction site.
Norm, that's my view too!

This is a totally misleading advert.
The intentional use of an image of an Atco Standard has
nothing to do with what is being offered for sale - a 1950s
Morison and a 1950s Atco.

Thanks Beech for giving us another example of
'Stretching the Truth!'

Can folks see any honesty between the first and second image?

Cheers
Jack

Wish I hadn't given my one away when we moved. I'd be rich now.
