Hi Max, I have been sent these pic of a couple of catchers a bloke has, any idea what they fit, I think the black one is a Victa low arch not sure of the green one. Any thoughts?
Thanks Max, you always come up with the answers, the catchers are too good to throw out because somebody one day will want them. I think he said the green one had a bit of a crack in it.
I recently bought one of those Corvette/Cortina catchers for the Waltons store brand I found on the side of the road early this year. It has a one inch crack starting on the lip at the bottom just under the metal tongue. I drilled a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it spreading further.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
That's a low arch version of a thumb latch with the mechanism on the outside instead of underneath. I have seen those before but not often. That's the mower with the white plastic teeth for the folding handlebars that are often missing a few.
