G'day Johnno84
Many thanks for you taking charge on this.
You've solved your own problem here!

I was frustrated in not knowing whether the Ransomes designs
(that the Imperial is based upon) were identical. If they were, then
there would still be high volume numbers available in the
UK as NOS. Having said that ...

The driving sprocket is the least likely to wear out.
The reel sprocket is the most likely - because it is affected by
poor chain adjustment - and it is much more complex to reproduce.

Having said that ... the price you quoted is a very good price!
I would doubt - with freight costs - whether an imported part would
be any cheaper.

Your topic may prove fruitful down the track to members.
I thank you for your work and consideration of other members.

Having said that ...
My biggest fear about the imperial is the lack of availability of
primary clutch pads for the centrifugal clutch. These differ from
all the Ransomes designs - and the 4 stroke Imperials are
different to the 2 stroke Imperial jobs.

The 2 stroke Imperial primary clutch pads are more likely to wear,
and wear means higher landroll speeds ... you have to run after them!
That takes away from their enjoyment to use.

Many thanks
