Suzuki brought out small vans and 4WDs with Suzuki 2 stroke engines in the 1970s. The Japanese loved them in their home market, until emissions came into play. I rode in a Suzuki Carry van with this motor back in the 80s. it had so much torque up hills and sounded very sporty. Here is one of a 4WD example.
Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
