Yes I guess I could use something like that, but i'd just replace the whole lot from the air filter housing to the carby. I was hoping that maybe you could get some of these things aftermarket. I guess I was only going to patch the bottom to try and keep the rest looking original.
I wonder if any reproduction companies like Rare Spares are interested in making some aftermarket parts for Victa mowers. Although I doubt there will be enough demand for them to bother.
Who knows one day they could even press out some new Victa decks. But that's only if they get the green light from Briggs and Stratton who own the rights to anything Victa.
Rare Spares now make so many replacement panels and parts for older Ford, Holden and Chrysler vehicles, maybe someone should ask them if they are thinking about making bits for the good old aussie Victa 2 stroke lawnmower..lol
