Ok so I put the Greenfield up on the bench today to survey what it was all about. Much to my disbelief the blade carrier is welded to the boss and it certainly looks factory and is a square blade carrier.

The joining of a blade holder to the boss seems quite poor - and stupid.
A disappointing design.
