Earlier this month I attended a private engine crank-up where a Sachs powered Masport was brought along to be repaired.
This engine/mower combinations has previously been discussed
HEREIgnition parts were scavenged from a similar Briggs powered Masport and a spark produced.
The carburetor was dismantled and cleaned but unfortunately I had to leave before it came to life.
In a couple of photos you can see the problematic coir matting air filter on the red tool box, this example was caked with dirt and oil.
