PART TWO - The Brochure
This booklet is from my collection and it is in good condition.
It has 24 pages and presents colour images.

New to the 1983 Range would be the introduction of petrol, electric and hand
mowers from the UK's Qualcast Group. These would be branded as Victas in
Australia. Some of these mowers were almost toy-like for our conditions.
I guess, the precursors of what is on offer today ...

Also new would be the Victa Sabre. It was an addition to Victa's new mid-range
pressed-steel rear-discharge lawnmowers. It was lower speced than the original
Commando of the previous year. The mid-range pressed-steel Victa mowers
were in their ascendancy: The Commando, Charger, Sabre and Lancer.

Also note that some models were offered with the old points ignition system as
a point of feature differentiation to the more expensive solid-state ignition models.
This is not to forget the Power boosted 160cc Super Victa 2-stroke
(with 15% more power).

The Victa range in 1983 included: The Self-propelled Powerplus, the Mustang,
Corvette, Sabre, Commando, Charger 2 and 4, Lancer 4, Utility, Mayfair Utility,
Professional 460, 550 and the Super 600. Other products would include the
Victa Tilt-a-Cut, Victa Tillers (imported), Victa Trim-A-Round range of Edgers
(imported), the Tilt-a-Cut edger, Victa Ride-ons (imported), Victa Shredder and
Bagger, and ... the Victa Garden Buggy.

It would be in 1983 that Victa would make its 4 millionth lawnmower.
