Sure they might not be as common as the 18" domestic grade pressed steel variety, but I have gathered that Victa still pumped out plenty of these units over the years for use in schools and other larger properties requiring a more rugged mower to deal with large swathes of the tough stuff.
He is treating it like a hand full were only made. There would still be tonnes of the things in that shape or better, especially since thy were designed to withstand heavy duty use with an alloy frame.


Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
