Kye's Facebook page has produced another great find...
a late 1950s Grasshopper fitted with a Villiers 7f 2-stroke.

The Grasshopper Automatic was offered for sale in late 1957,
just months after release of the ground-breaking Villiers here.

The machine is owned by Kye's VM:B,S&S member Judd W.
Many thanks to Kye for spotting the significance of the machine,
and Judd for use of the images.

In the gallery images, not the folding handle and the cast baseplate -
with under-deck muffler and cast foot grip on the base.

Also note that the machine appears to have been converted to
a remote throttle (rather than the automatic one).
