Don't know about the HP output, but in one word...awesome!!!. I have one and with the help of my very good friend George (y'all know him as MOTORSAG), who supplied me with all the parts I needed to restore this saw, I have put a 27 inch bar and new chain on it and it is a very impressive machine.
