Hey Bruce and drunkees, Thats great advice, I had the same prob when I had my Ryobi and that fixed the prob (with a good tune up as well) unfortunately the flex drive(upper) broke soon after ($86 to repair and then broke again) ......Next stop was the bin!! drunkees, I hope you have better luck with yours!!
