As repairable or not it depends if it is for yourself or for sale as parts are the main factor. Here the curve shaft models are usually the low end products that most repair shop cost to repair is more than a new unit. I very seldom repair any except for elderly ladies that have hard time learning new equipment which I usually just do at parts cost with no labor added.
