Hello ODK History Lovers

By the mid-1960s Qualcast's presence in this country was but a shadow of its
former self. Qualcast sold here from its very early days (1920s), and was
manufacturing here from 1930. As Qualcast (Aust.) Sales Pty. Ltd., it was now
a member of the Australian Ogden Group and all machines were fully imported.
There was a limited range here.

This tiny multi-fold brochure [approx. 8cm x 14cm] from my collection is so
revealing. The Qualcast Company was fighting back the commercial shock of the
rotary revolution, and this brochure represents Qualcast at its best.
With two memorable puns on the front cover, this brochure is an apology for
the relevance of reel mowers in the modern world.
