I don't know if you guys anything like the Harbor Freight Tools stores here. I purchased a bearing separator set from that would do that job. I have been using to gears, bearings and pulleys. Here is what I am using bearings mounted like on spindle shafts, Briggs bearings on crankshafts, and on stubborn ZTR engine pulleys. Now of course I usually end destroying those ZTRs pulleys but it heck a lot better trying to cut them off.
