It's nice to see serious collectors taking an interest.
All you need is a HG badge for the base ...
I've really softened to HGs over the years.
They have been unfairly discredited as only selling store-brand
mowers in the past, and I believe that needs to change. The reality
is that some of their models were unique designs, and Palmer's
supported a number of larger and smaller AUS manufacturers.
That HG Palmer should have been an example of one of the biggest
corporate collapses of the day was probably unavoidable given their
rapid - meteoric - expansion.
A story waiting to be told.
