Righto, this is pretty easy, we'll just have to use the technical terms for the bits. grin

There should be two wires connected to the condenser/breaker point unit in the ignition housing. Both single strand, insulated wires.

One is the coil primary wire, the other goes to the engine stop switch, which is that doover mounted under the throttle lever mount bracket.

The 'depressor tool' shown is one that Briggs include with new condenser/points kits, but it's not hard to make something up. Saves a bit of frustration.
