Sorry to Hi-jack this thread but I do have the same issue but on a auto prime(?? no manual primer)3.5hp 12 series briggs.Could I have the same issue of leaking gaskets around the air intake?I have cleaned the carby, head and valves but reused a head gasket from another 12 series that looked ok ,just a bit flater than a newy.
