I'll pass this info on to the owner as well.
Again this mower will probably have had newer bits used to keep it running given the owner preferred this to newer mowers.
Good to hear it's the model I thought it was and that the main components match and are intact.
The newness of the plastic fuel tap had not escaped even my attention!
Given what was posted elsewhere on this site I had begun to suspect this was originally a model 4 'standard' as opposed to 'predicta'.
I'll post any more questions on it here.
