I think the way I will go is remove the valve so I can have clear access at the seat then replace the valve to hold the seat in place like you suggested.For a couple of minutes work, atleast the valve wont be getting in the way of squaring up the seat.The seats must be tuff little buggas I don't know how many cycles the engine has done since it's escape attempt but there isnt a mark on it Thanks for your advice bigted
