Hi all,

A couple of things i would look at, take the spark plug cover off (probably orange) the high tension lead and make sure the screw in the end has no rust and is making good contact with the wire in the lead. When checking for spark make sure the plug is in contact with the screw when the cover is pushed on.

Check the air gap between the coil and the flywheel magnets should be around 0.25mm.

Take the earth wire out of the carby, also check and make sure these wires don't have the copper wire itself showing and are touching on the body or engine, if its an earth wire thats ok. This also applies to the high tension wire make sure it has no cuts in it that go to the copper or the spark will jump here instead of the plug.

Just a few things i would check before changing coils and modules
