Chris, these catchers do come up for sale occasionally.
In the History Forum I have recently included a brochure for the catcher.
Also, a couple of photos of a tram with a huge billboard advertising this catcher.
By 1960, if a mower maker couldn't offer a side catcher mower, they were history.
