Hi Cooleyes and grumpy, The pics are there now and seem to tell the story. The inner end of the spring would fit in where the slot is in the plastic, adjacent to the centre boss, the outer end of the spring would fit over the white plastic boss on the outer edge of the rope spool. How to tension it is another story.
