Hi Peter, I have owned my twin rail 17" Model 45 since new. If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought a solid deck Series 1 machine....but having said that, I wouldn't swap mine for anything as I know its entire history in my care. (I wish I knew the exact date of manufacture)
