Hi Mike, I haven't had much experience of the earlier tensioner, as my machine is a twin rail (later) model...I guess just rotate it and see how you go, If that doesn't work, you can replace it with the new style available HERE Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been on a break, and have just returned home.
