Send me a PM with your address and I will send you a blade (new one) for the trimmer which will make short work of the lantana and just about anything else. We use the same blade on 12 acre property and they are still in reasonable condition even after cutting lantana and blackberry.

It is good to see other people helping the elderly these days, not many people do that anymore. A big congrats to you for helping them out. cheers2
