Got this Snapper from the second hand dealer who was going to scrap it, he just wanted the 8hp B&S off it, was wondering from what year this would be from??? anyone?

Also picked up this one free through my add on gumtree, it is a Cox Orion 10hp B&S, and have just got it going and will do a bit of fine tuning again tomorrow, I would love to know more about this thing as it is well built and solid, what year would it be???? the engine is Model 256707, and Type 0114-01 Code 89102711 any help please.
